ELI SHAD | Elham Ghorbanishad

ELI SHAD is an Iranian figurative painter based in Dubai, UAE. Her artistic practice explores solitude, resilience, identity, and the emotional experiences of everyday life, with a particular focus on female figures.

Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media on canvas, she combines expressive brushstrokes, layered textures, and fragmented forms to create compositions that move between abstraction and figuration.

Her experiences of migration, distance, and personal transformation have deeply influenced her artistic language. Through her paintings, she explores the relationship between vulnerability and strength, stillness and emotional movement.

ELI SHAD has held three solo exhibitions in Iran and participated in group exhibitions in Dubai. Her artworks and biography have also been featured in publications dedicated to Iranian women painters.

Expanding her artistic presence beyond traditional exhibition spaces, she has minted selected works as NFTs on Foundation and Objkt, exploring new ways of presenting her physical painting practice within the Web3 art ecosystem.

Her work invites viewers to discover the unspoken emotions and personal narratives hidden within ordinary moments.
